Sleek sofas for flats where every foot counts
How to choose a sofa with a sleek design for a flat with limited space: measuring, sizes, arms, legs and colour, with sofas you can see in Jaipur.

In a flat, the sofa is often the largest piece in the room, and space is the first thing to run out. A sleek design does not mean giving up comfort. It means choosing the right size and the right shape.
Measure first
- The wall. Measure the length available and leave room to walk past at each end.
- The walkway. Keep a clear path between the sofa and the centre table, and to the balcony or the next room.
- The way in. Check the width of the main door, the lift and any tight turn in the corridor.
Choose a shape that takes less space
- Slim arms. Thick, rolled arms add width without adding seating. Straight, narrow arms give you more seat in the same length.
- Raised legs. A sofa on legs shows the floor beneath it, so the room feels larger.
- Two pieces, not one. A 2-seater with a single chair often fits a flat better than one long 3-seater, and you can move them around.
- Light colours. Pale grey, ivory or soft green keep a small room feeling open.
Sizes to compare
Mack prints the size of every sofa, which makes planning easy. All sizes are length × depth × height.
